■The historical documents introduced in this corner are limited to those of the modern and contemporary period (generally 19th century and later) and whose original texts can be accessed by anyone on the Internet. References in this corner will also be limited to articles available on the Internet and general books available in public libraries.
■Articles are grouped into categories such as “Japan and Asia” and “Japan, Europe, and America.”
